ビットウォークの高橋です。

Tcl/Tkバージョン8.4に追加される新機能、tk caret(TIP #96)などについて、こ
のほどTCT(Tcl Core Team)による採決がおこなわれましたのでお知らせします
（といっても内容を転送するだけです）。

これで、日本語などの入力に関して、細かな改善提案のパッチをサブミットしや
すくなりました。

Sorry about not backing off 48 so as to let George, Jeff and Fred
resolve the issues relating to it, but it seemed that at least some of
the reasoning behind the rejection stemmed from a misunderstanding as
to the exact purpose of scope of the TIP.
